Our story
We established our Community Interest Company back in 2020, with the mission to foster a vibrant film culture in our town. We aimed to provide a platform for young local creatives to showcase their work and develop their skills as filmmakers. While this mission remains unchanged, we have since evolved into two distinct sectors: CFI MEDIA, our corporate production company focused on creating professional films, and CFI ACADEMY, our training and community hub dedicated to up-skilling young talent.
CFI MEDIA
CFI MEDIA plays a vital role in supporting CFI ACADEMY by leveraging its resources and strong connections with industry professionals to mentor young talent. Additionally, it maintains self-sustainability through commercial projects that directly fund CFI ACADEMY projects, including our Saturday Film&Screen Club. These efforts also extend to community projects, providing Academy members with invaluable, hands-on experience on set at no cost. Clients working with CFI MEDIA directly support young peoples careers development in the world of film.
